Wow, I cannot believe it has been 1 year since we opened our doors at the Beverly Center. It has been quite a journey to say the least. Just getting the store open faced some challenges early on, but we persisted and pushed through those barriers and got the doors open. I have always loved the convenience of a mall, and the Beverly Center is something different to a regular mall. It has luxury streetwear on one level and pretty much Rodeo Drive on the level above and everything in between. It is the first mall I ever shopped at when I first came to LA back in 2008 and was the place where our business really took off and cut its teeth selling our Knomadik line at Traffic LA some 10 years ago. So it has some history with me personally and with the brand and that is why I chose to open a store here. The confines of a mall can feel a bit sterile to some, but I love the fact that rain, hail or shine you get the same comfortable experience free from the elements. That I find to be a plus point. Not to mention it is easy to park.

Having also been around for 13 years we are not exactly a household name by any stretch of the imagination, and being here opens us up to many new customers that are drawn to our aesthetic and quality but have not necessarily heard of the brand and I love that. I have also come to realize the Beverly Center is a magnet for tourists from all over the world, and I love being in-store to chat with people from different countries and welcome them to LA. I think the Beverly Center is an icon in and of itself, and I think it is a fitting location for our brick and mortar on this side of town. I will say though, I do wish it had a food court and movie theater to round out the experience for shoppers, so fingers crossed that is on the horizon.
